I spoke to Rockets GM Bruce Hamilton this morning in Ottawa.
Hamilton says Benn, Myers and Novotny are expected to fly in tomorrow morning to Kelowna International Airport. Hamilton says all three will be in the lineup Wednesday.
When asked about the discussions regarding Mikael Backlund, Hamilton said it would be best not to saying anything at this time.
I respect his position in a delicate matter. I do appreciate his efforts in attempting to land what could be an all-star forward at this years world juniors.

A friend said that he heard on TSN that MB is indeed going to play in Kelowna after the WJr.
Heard the same thing as stated on the Calgary Flames message board. TSN's Bob McKenzie is quoted as saying he is coming here. How right is Bob McKenzie? Before my wife and I had children, he told me we'd have twins. We'll see.
Just heard on TSN's WJ broadcast that Backlund will make his decision right after the game!! Wow that would be something, if he indeed comes, especially if the Luke Schenn rumour is true also!!
Luke Schenn rumour?
I have not heard anything there.
I suspect it has something to do with him coming back to the Rockets for the end of the season. Every year those types of rumors float around concerning players having made an early jump to the NHL.
I believe it has to do with his injury, rehab and limiting his rehab/physical play by skating against boys as opposed to men.
That's pure speculation on my part. I've heard nothing either way.
I think he confused the comments by Bob McKenzie during the intermission of the Canada/Sweden game.
Basically all that was said was that Canada would have been even more powerful than they were had players like Schenn, Doughty, Gillies, etc had been in the roster.
McKenzie dragged the point out, and I can see where someone who wasn't giving their full attention could have confused: Schenn being returned (to Canada), with Schenn being returned (to Kelowna).
if anything he'd go to the marlies for conditioning i would think.
