Callahan could wear USA colours

Mitchell Callahan has been named to the training camp roster for the USA World Junior team. What a huge accomplishment for the 19 year-old. Final cuts are anticipated December 22nd or 23rd. The World Junior's are in Buffalo New York.
Callahan is one of just two WHL players on the training camp roster. The other is Medicine Hat's Emerson Etem.

... hmmm great news for Cally but I think we might be seeing a whole crop of 15 yr. olds...except they'll all be in tournies too over Christmas... by my count we could potentionally lose 4 to the Worlds (Barrie, Cally, Goren(hurt)and Stene) and 2 to the under 17's (Severson and Heffley). That'll hurt if they all go... Plus a coach... Hope Bruce has a trick or two up his sleeve.

This is great. I really hope he makes it as the US team should be pretty good again this year.
