The Kelowna Rockets made a pit stop while going through Calgary today as they made their way from Edmonton to Medicine Hat.
No they didn't need to refuel and a bathroom break wasn't necessary. The quick stop was necessary to pick up 16 year-old Tyrell Goulbourne, who will join the team for the remainder of the Alberta road trip.
Goulbourne, the Rockets 5th pick in the 2009 WHL Bantam Draft, was conveniently playing a game with his midget team in Calgary when the Rockets bus rolled through.
Whether he suits up for the Rockets against the Linden Vey-less Medicine Hat Tigers is unknown.
