Sissons..sensational!

Colton Sissons couldn't have picked a better place to register his first career WHL hat trick.
The North Vancouver resident will forever remember his three goal effort Wednesday night on Pacific Coliseum ice in the Rockets 4-2 win over the Vancouver Giants. Sissons was in on all four goals the Rockets scored, including an assist on Geordie Wudrick's 31st of the season. Line-mate Evan Bloodoff had two assists as the Rockets moved into first place in the BC Division. The photo above (by Steve Bosch), shows teammate Zak Stebner giving Sissons a bear-hug after his third goal of the game.

Wow...after losing 4 out of their last 5 and being as understaffed as they are, who would have thunk it... I'm once again impressed to say the least... Congrads to Colton for having the game of his early career (hope they'll be many more) and to all the boys for such a gutsy effort... The boys seem to continue to play up too the level of the competition which is great but I hope they realize soon that they can play and beat anyone and move to that next level... First place at this point in the season... wohoo... You didn't see this one coming did you Reagan? Great call on the game guys... nice to hear you both at a mid week game... You make the game so exciting to listen too and it wouldn't be the same Kelowna Rockets Hockey without you and I hope Bruce realizes it. Thanks and great work... :)
