Rockets game notes vs. Cougars

Tonight’s Preview: The Kelowna Rockets are meeting the Prince George Cougars for the 9th and final time this season. The Rockets are 6-2-0-0 against Prince George, having out-scored the Cougars 33-21. The Rockets have won six of the last seven meetings between the two teams. Tonight’s game is the fifth of seven straight games against teams in the BC Division. The Rockets return home to host the Chilliwack Bruins on Friday night. Overall the Rockets have won seven of their last eight games and have scored five or more goals in six of their last seven home games. The loss last night snapped a three game road winning streak. The Rockets had won three straight over Seattle, Spokane and Tri City prior to last night’s setback.

Rockets recent game: Zak Stebner and MacKenzie Johnston scored third period goals in a 4-2 loss last night to the Prince George Cougars.
