Tonight’s Preview: The Kelowna Rockets are meeting the Everett Silvertips for the 4th time this season. The Rockets haven’t played a game at the Comcast Arena since October 10th, when the Rockets rallied with three-third period goals and then won the game in the shootout (4-3). Rookie goaltender Jordon Cooke was named the games 1st star. The Rockets have also beaten the Tips by scores of 4-0 and 4-3 in a shootout on home ice. Overall the Rockets are 3-0-0-0 against the Tips, having out-scored them 12-6. The Rockets have dropped their last four games (0-3-0-1) and have been out-scored 16-10. The Rockets are in Vancouver Wednesday to conclude a three game road trip before hosting the Giants and Spokane next weekend.
Rockets recent game: Max Adolph scored the lone goal in a 4-1 loss last night in Chillliwack. It was Adolph’s first goal in 27 games. The Bruins would score four unanswered goals in the win. The Rockets were 0 for 2 on the power play while shutting out the Bruins on one power play chance. Adam Brown took the loss in goal.
