Rockets face Cougars in round one

The Kelowna Rockets have a date with the Prince George Cougars in game one of their opening round playoff series Friday night at Prospera Place.
Game two is Saturday before the series shifts to PG for games three and four Tuesday and Wednesday.
It marks the first time the Rockets and Cougars have met in the playoffs since 2000, when the Cougars beat the Rockets in five games in round one.

Missed the game tonight. What happened with Evan and i assume with a check from behind there will be a suspension.

Why are all our guys playing dirty as of late getting suspensions and such. This is worse than an injury bug....

Any comments on Evan's hit last night? It happened right in front of me, but I didn't see him leave his feet from my point of view, but after seeing the replay you could see him jump a bit!! Caught him with his shoulder not his elbow on the chin, now Rogers just came back from a concussion so that may weigh into the decision on a suspension!! Regan how many games should he get for that? I'm thinking one game since there was no neck injury or broken bones!!

Two to three games is hopeful. He clearly left his feet

The hit did not look that bad till I saw it on the replay. I thought it was a neck injury, but I was told from people that were sitting right there it appeared to be a leg injury. Any word on what the injury was?

Despite losing I thought we played a pretty good game. The thing that really bugged me is when we were on the PP. We don't shoot enough. You look at Vancouver on the PP its pass pass shoot. Unlike Kelowna who keeps on passing and then the pass gets intercepted.

Bring On PG. This will be a good series. The season series was 6-3 in favor of Rockets. But like they always say(well I say)the playoffs are a whole diff season and anything can happen. That saying I think it is going to be a close series. I say Rockets in 6.
