Richard Doerksen on Bloodoff suspension

Here is my convo with WHL disciplinarian Richard Doerksen on the four game suspension handed to Kelowna Rockets forward Evan Bloodoff.

He's lucky it was only four, especially after all the press the Chara hit got and now Cooke is getting. Eyes are watching ALL hockey junior, pro it doesn't matter.

Yes he is lucky he did not get more considering all the talk about head shots.

Bob Mackenzie was talking about head shots in the CHL head shots tonight on TSN. Here is the article. http://www.tsn.ca/blogs/bob_mckenzie/?id=359138

I don't think it should matter if it is regular season or playoffs for a suspension. 10 games min. for this hit.

Hey tjorde!! Are you off your rocker or just smokn' some bad s--t. First of all Evan is not a repeat offender & isn't known to be dirty in any way!! Also had Rogers not had a previous concussion (recently by the way) he likely would of got up on is own & not been out cold. It was a hard hit no doubt & he shouldn't have left his feet but, 10 games!! Give your head a shake, be careful though!!
