The Kelowna Rockets were quiet at the WHL trade deadline.
No moves were made.
Rockets GM Bruce Hamilton told me Saturday night he would not trade Tyson Barrie and he stood firm on that promise.
Barrie would have been of interest to several teams but is of extreme value to the team he has played for over the last four seasons.
Man, am I hungry for pizza all of a sudden!

Hey hey hey, now that was my Pizza Deal. No stealsies Regan! Haha
Enjoy. You made the right call. lol.
I still would have traded him. We will at best make it to the second round of the playoffs if Brown can steal a few, which he can. We could have got a lot for Barrie given what other players have gone for.
But didn't Ryan say pizza if he played for the rockets next season ? Maybe I this mixed up
I suddenly have a craving as well. Maybe Jared has some extra pizza.
All in good fun gentlemen.
We may not agree, but we are all fans and only want the Rockets to do well.
Hey smart guys, the pizza deal was the fact he wont be wearing a Rockets jersey next season. Which of course he wont be, so enjoy two more months of a guy instead of a 1st, 2nd and propects for the next few seasons.
I know you guys cant say anything bad about Bruce fearing a Drinnan episode but the unwillingness to see how a trade could have helped this team is sick, even for Sunshine Man.
If I am wrong and Barrie plays for Kelowna next year, Jared gets pizza for the season.
Ryan, you continually talk about getting prospects for Barrie. What do you call Jesse Lees and Madison Bowey? Golbourne? Lees showed promise in Alberta on the pre Xmas trip, Bowey is a proven prospect and Goulbourne has been very impressive. Why would you trade an asset for prospects when the Rockets future already looks very promising?
I have all the faith in the world in Lorne Frey and his team to find prospects of their own and not needing other teams scouted talent. Let alone getting it for our best player(s)
grow up Kevin.
