Western Hockey League referee Graham Skilliter remains in a Kelowna hospital after a collision last night with a player during the Rockets home game against the Edmonton Oil Kings.
Skilliter hit his head on the ice and suffered a concussion after running into Rockets forward Brandon McMillan.
The Saskatoon resident could be released from hospital this afternoon.
Skilliter is usually on the other end of a traumatic incident.
The 4th year referee is employed as a fire fighter.
