- Wudrick was one of 17 players in the WHL to score 35 or more goals last season. Wudrick had as many goals as Regina Pats sharp shooter Jordan Eberle.
- With over 500 players making up the 22 teams in the WHL, Wudrick was one of just 3% of the players in the league to score that many goals.
- Wudrick had two more goals than Rockets leading scorer Colin Long last season.
- Wudrick did not attend LA Kings training camp this fall after suffering from appendicitis.
- Wudrick played in Notre Dame (Wilcox, Saskatchewan) before joining the Broncos full time as a 16 year-old.
- Wudrick is no stranger to players in the Rockets dressing room. He is a former teammate of goaltenders Mark Guggenberger and Chad Ketting.
- Wudrick played summer hockey with Kyle St. Denis and Brandon McMillan.
- Wudrick's father is an RCMP officer in Swift Current.
- The Rockets and Broncos have been trading partners over the last three years. In 2007 - Brady Leavold. In 2008 - Mark Guggenberger. In 2009 - Chad Ketting and now Geordie Wudrick.
- This is not the first time the Rockets have sent a European player to the Broncos in a trade. The Rockets traded Thomas Raffl to Swift Current in 2005.
