McMillan/Myers-Team Canada

Kelowna Rockets defenceman Tyler Myers and forward/defenceman Brandon McMillan have been invited to attend the Canadian World Junior Teams development Camp in early August in Saskatoon. McMillan's invite is especially impressive considering he played the majority of the season as a defenceman, yet Team Canada has him slotted in as a forward.
Adam Brown attended a Team Canada evaluation camp for goaltenders only earlier this week.
Congratulations to all three players.

Regan, why is everyone obsessed with McMillan being a forward? Can't he make it as a D-Man? I think he is much more impressive as a D-Man. Great on the rush out of the defensive zone and good at jumping in on the O, yet quick to get back. I don't recall him beings so impressive as a fwd.

I hear ya. Yet I am not sure Brandon see's himself as a defenceman - long term. I am sure the 'Ducks', the team that drafted him, would also have a say on where they want him to play and develop.

Just to clarify things Adam Brown is off to his evaluation camp in mid June. He has not gone yet.
