Hey Regan, What a game! Thanks to you for this blog, and to both you and Gord for a great job on the radio this year. Will you be broadcasting from the Memorial Cup or is your broadcasting season over? If so, take care and don't let McGarva take too much $$$ off you on the course.
What a fantastic game!!!!!! Its nice to experience something like that all together! I was at the winning memorial cup game back in 04, and tonight's crowd gave me the shivers as it reminded me of that final game. Would love to hear the call on the final goal from you Regan, as i could here nothing but cheers when Barrie scored! GO ROCKETS GO!!!!
Well Regan...i'm sitting here, watching the video over and over of Barrie's goal and enjoying my sweet sweet Crow.
I've doubted all season that Ryan Huska would not be the coach to lead us to another Memorial Cup appearance. Boy was I wrong in a big big way. He got these boys to leave it all out on the ice tonight, and i am enjoying this crow.
Congrats to Huska and my appologies to him for doubting him....ever
I almost cryed tonight!! So happy the rockets pulled it out! Dont really know what to say...I cant break the game down...but all I know is they did it!!!!!!!!
Jamie Benn's return to the powerplay, his refusal to see the Rockets take another huge hit, Curt Gogol leveling that guy and blowing Calgary's composure are all keys to me last night. Kelowna fought through bizarre officiating, a surging Hitmen squad, to win it all.....nice....
Congrats to the Rockets on their championship win last night, excellent game and an excellent way to cap off the year. Was glad to see Kelowna win. Good luck at the Memorial Cup!!
Jared, I was right with you in doubting the coaching staff. Thanks for proving us wrong Huska, you and your staff have done a great job!!
That was possibly the most entertaining game I have ever watched. Thank goodness for Benn and St.D's return, they both add so much to the team. Turning point was the Benn fight, Way to stick up for a fellow player (even though it was a clean hit).
Congrats to Calgary for stepping it up after game 3 they had some of us in K town worried.
jared i envy you,i wish i could watch that video over and over?! ive been looking all over, where's it at? we had the trip planned to make a rockets presence felt in quebec but ironically our car has screwed its transmission, guess i'm yelling at home!
Hey Richard, if you go to http://livestream.whl.ca/ and click the archives and go from there and you can watch the video for like $4.00 on your credit card...totally worth it watching Ryan Huska's celebration!
for 48 hours? somebody should really capture that and upload it somewhere for a poor credit card-less bum such as myself. It'd be nice to have on youtube,if somebody could do such a thing i could edit the highlights and throw it up on there. Thanks for the info though. :(

Hey Regan: I went to the Memorial Cup Website and clicked on "Rosters" and all that came up was the Calgary Hitmen. I guess our win was a surprise!
Have a great time in Rimouski.
CONGRATULATIONS REGAN AND THE ROCKETS!
RP
congrat's to all the Rockets, what a great season. Just as Jared doubted the coachs I would have traded Almond before December.....whoops :)
It was interesting to hear Huska say afterwards about how many players were battling through something. He just shook his head.
Makes me want to ask how many players are really hurt bad??
I sure hope everyone can work through for a few more games....
