Hot goaltender stands in the way of two solid efforts

Eric Comrie 4 points, Kelowna Rockets 0.
That would  best describe the conclusion of back-to-back games between the Kelowna Rockets and Tri City Americans on the weekend. The 17 year-old goaltender faced 87 shots over two games and came out on the winning end with consecutive 3-2 wins. Without Comrie, the Rockets would be heading home riding a seven game winning streak.  Now the team will have six days to regroup in an effort to snap a two game losing streak this Friday against the visiting Regina Pats. (More later).

So maybe a trade for a goalscorer is something we need to make asap???

Overall I would fully agree that Kelowna outplayed Tri-City in both games. However, the one thing I noted from both games is that the Ams were able to capitalize from the few defensive mistakes that the Rockets made. This includes the first and third goals from Friday's game, as well as the two short-handed goals from Saturday's game.
