Dominance to end home stand

Cody Fowlie (pictured), Myles Bell and Ryan Olsen each scored twice leading the Kelowna Rockets to a 8-1 win Friday night over the Red Deer Rebels. The win, the teams 12th of the season, extended the Rockets winning streak to six straight games on home ice. It was a dominate performance from start to finish as 14 players were involved in the scoring.  Rourke Chartier, Dylen McKinlay and Filip Vasko also had two point nights. The Rockets held period leads of 2-0 and 5-0 before scoring three times in the third period. Jackson Whistle made 22 saves, improving his record to 5-0-0-0 on the season. The Rockets were 4-0-0-0 during the home-stand, outscoring the opposition 19-3.

Another win. Whistle is looking like a full time starter....

Great game last night. Rockets have a great goaltending pair right now.

So we are 20 games into the Season and rockets are 12-6-2. If rockets keep going on this pace they will finish with a 40+ win season. Though predictions are never accurate because anything can happen.

With rockets not playing till next Friday who do you think goalie will be? Do you go with your back up goaltender that is on a hot streak or do you go back to your starting goaltender coming back from injury? (I am guessing cooke could play Friday since he was on the bench last night).

My bet is Cooke is back in action Friday, but Whistle could get a start Saturday if Cooke isn't sharp.
