The luxury of having a significant lead in the 3rd period....you can rest your top players.
Cody Almond gets interviewed by Sportsnet outside the Rockets dressing room in the 2nd intermission.
A face for TV and a face for radio. Sportsnet's Peter Loubardias and I pose for a quick pic prior to game time in Chilliwack. Loubardias is a favorite of mine, and if you don't know why, I'll share that with you next week prior to a game in Calgary.
Bruins play-by-play man Randy Merkley has a pre-game interview with Rockets head coach Ryan Huska.

It's great to see Collin Bowman pick up a game star last night. He is not the most flashy D man we have but he sure is good at his job. Congrats Collin!
How many game stars does Myers have lately ?? I think he went three for three this weekend.
Two-firsts and a second star. I'd call that a solid weekend.
Hey Regan - Kind of a sluggish start but once they found their legs I thought they took over!! Felt bad for Adam not getting the goose-egg but he did get first star so that more than makes up for it!! Why was McMillan a last minute scratch? Can you update his status for the praire trip?
Wow It sure nice to have some positive feedback. Watch out Spokane were on a roll!
McMillan is out with an 'upper body injury'. My guess is he will play Wednesday.
Too bad for Bowman the shutout wasn't to be. Terrible refereeing in the third as evidenced on national T.V.when Callahan is seen asking Gogol what he was doing in the penalty box. Strong weekend for the squad generally. Didn't like the mismatch at the start of the second but i guess those things happen. Interesting to see what the ice action will look like next Chilliwack game.
