Price says Canadiens will miss former Rockets captain

The starting goaltender for the Montreal Canadiens admits the loss of defenceman Josh Gorges will be huge.

Speaking in Kelowna prior to a workout at Prospera Place, Carey Price says the former Kelowna Rockets captain will be missed.

"He is a great locker room guy. He is our best penalty killer. He is one of our leaders in our dressing room so it is going to be tough for the first bit but we are going to have to move on without him."

Price also took the opportunity to thank the Kelowna Rockets organization for the ice time they are providing the pro players that are getting ready for training camp.

"Bruce (Hamilton) and the Rockets have been gracious enough to loan us there ice for a couple of weeks. It definitely helps in your preparation for camp because its coming up pretty quick", Price added.
