A great night with WHL Commissioner Ron Robison and Kelowna Rockets GM Bruce Hamilton. Last night at Prospera Place, the two 'heavy hitters' spent an hour and half with season ticket holders during a first of its kind question and answer session. I had the privileged of being in the middle of it by moderating the evening. While I was loaded with questions myself, I was impressed by the number of fans that came to the meeting with a listening ear but more importantly sharing their thoughts on numerous issues including officiating and attendance. I left the meeting knowing more than when I arrived. I hope those in attendance can say the same.

I couldn't make it to the event, but I would be interested to know what the Commish's comments were on the attendance issues were having, I feel sorry for the Hamiltons as they have a great product on the ice & the ticket prices are very reasonable also, but its those other money hoarding companies, such as RG Properties who insist on high concession prices & the idiots that run the parking lots around the arena, also the economy is another reason!! This is a fact whether you want to admit it or not, unless something changes this will be the norm for a long time to come!! Go Rockets!!
