Austin Glover suffered a broken ankle Wednesday night in a 6-0 win over Lethbridge. The 17 year-old was hit in front of the Hurricanes bench late in the third period and appeared to get his left skate caught in the ice as he went down awkwardly. Glover underwent surgery Thursday to repair some ligament damage.
Glover will be out of the line up for a minimum of two months to a maximum of four months. The second round bantam pick had three points in five games this season.
