A former member of the Kelowna Rockets will play this season with the Central Hockey League's newest franchise.Kristofer Westblom will join the Brampton Beasts, an expansion team in the CHL which is affiliated with the NHL's Tampa Bay Lightning.
The Storm moved into Brampton after the city lost its Ontario Hockey League franchise to North Bay at the end of last season.
Brampton is the first Canadian city to ever have a team in the Central League, which is three levels below the NHL.
