I've been asked by several fans where the Rockets three overage players from last season ended up this year. So to bring some clarity to the situation I thought I'd find out.
Twenty year-old defenseman David Schulz is playing in the East Coast Hockey League with the Texas Wildcatters. Schulz has played in just two games this season, with no points and 4 penalty minutes. Schulz is a -1.
Clayton Barthel has also landed in the East Coast Hockey League with the Charlotte Checkers. Barthel has played in just two games, with no points and 6 penalty minutes.
Last seasons team captain Chris Ray is attending the University of Waterloo. Ray is taking environment and business. Ray has 2 assists in four games, along with four penalty minutes.
