16: The Rockets have been leading going into the third period in 16 of their last 17 games.
19: The number of consecutive wins Jordon Cooke has on home ice. Kelly Guard had 18 in 2002-2003.
22: The number of additional points the Rockets three overage players (20 year-old's) have scored compared to Cody Chikie, Kevin Smith and Brett Lyon last season. 
23.8: The number of shots on average Jordon Cooke has faced in his 5 shutouts this season.
27: The increase in the number of goals the Rockets have scored compared to all of last season.
142: The number of points the defensive core has combined to score this season.
325: The pace the Rockets are on for scoring goals this season. The team averages 4.5 goals per game.
517: The total of the entire teams plus/minus combined.

Since goalie Adam Brown was one of the three overage players last season, and Kevin Smith was released when the Rockets acquired Brett Lyon at the trade deadline; it hardly seems fair to compare their points with this season's overage players.

6007 + : the number of loud and proud Rockets fans that will be at Prospera Place on February 8th and 9th. Let us show Portland we are true hockey fans.

These games this weekend are big ones. The improvement over last season is unreal. I really thought it would have taken them another year to get to this point but was I ever wrong.

Agreed. A couple of big games this weekend, for a few very legitimate reasons.
But let's be realistic here; the REALLY BIG games are still a couple of months away.
Some playoff hockey in May would be a blast in these parts...
