Gentleman let the meeting begin...

The Western Hockey League's heavy hitters converge on Kelowna for two days of league meetings Tuesday and Wednesday. It's the first time in forever that the October league meetings have been held outside of Calgary, the centre of the university for the WHL, considering the league offices are located there. GM's will gather Tuesday with league governors getting together on Wednesday. House cleaning issues are part of the equation as rosters had to finalized on October 10th, but low attendance across the league will likely be discussed. I'll speak to WHL Vice-President of Hockey Richard Doerksen Tuesday night on our broadcast and gather some of the issues that were debated among the 22 GM's.
