I got a kick out of this 'mock' letter sent to Kelowna Rockets GM Bruce Hamiton. It can be found on a Buffalo Sabres fan website. ( http://sabrenoise.com/2009/10/24/tyler-myers-wins-game-in-shootout/)
Dear Bruce Hamilton,
I hope this letter finds you well. I wanted to send you a picture out of your past. It is your near past the picture is from, so you should still recognize the face.

Can you see him? It’s your old MVP, Tyler Myers. I know it is nothing knew for you to see him score goals, there was a different reason for this letter.
I wanted to let you know that you shouldn’t expect to see Myers back in Kelowna this season, or ever really. Myers will be in town however, on January 25th when he will be playing the Canucks, you might want to get a few tickets to pass out to the rest of your roster to show them what hard word can do for you. I am not saying that you have a bad team, it just might help if Myers stopped by your locker room to give the guys the old try as hard as you can and you can be just like me speech.
If there is anything that we can do for you, please feel free to write or call, but as far as Myers is concerned, were going to keep him. We might be able to send you some beef on weck, or maybe even some really good chicken wings.
If you really need a player to fill a roster spot, I hear Andrew Peters is still without a contract.
Sincerely,
The City of Buffalo
