The Kelowna Rockets have announced that 19 year old Justin Bernhardt has been traded to the Prince Albert Raiders.
The Rockets send Bernhardt to the Raiders in exchange for a fourth round draft pick in the 2009 Bantam Draft. Should Bernhardt continue into play in the Western Hockey League as an overage player, the pick will be elevated to a third round draft selection in the 2009 Bantam Draft.
President/General Manager of the Kelowna Rockets Bruce Hamilton stated,“We’re disappointed that we didn’t get Justin to the level of play we had hoped to see him at. At this time we feel that we’re in a position to make this move.”
My thoughts? Check back in a bit.
