Barrie gets invite

Kelowna Rockets defenceman Tyson Barrie is one of 41 players invited to take part in Team Canada's summer evaluation camp for the upcoming world junior hockey championships.
Barrie is also one of 18 Western Hockey League players taking part in the camp in St. John Newfoundland in August.
Barrie isn't the only Kelowna connection to the summer camp.

Rockets head coach Ryan Huska is an assistant coach on Team Canada.

For a third Kelowna connection, you could include Curtis Hamilton, who was born in Kelowna, who is invited to the camp.

Hey Regan it was great to hear a little Rider news on 1150 today, don't get much since this is Lion country, but the Rider Nation lives here in the Okanagan too!! Also it was great to hear the Canucks are coming back to the Okanagan, but is there any reason you know of why they don't come to Kelowna??
