Pat Smith and Matt Kirk are the referee's that will represent the Western Hockey League at the 2010 Memorial Cup in Brandon.
It's the first Memorial Cup assignment for both Smith and Kirk.
The WHL will also have five linesman working games over the ten days.

I make the comment I think everyone is thinking ..Holy mother.......Smith ???? They must have just drawn names out of a hat because there is no way any sane person would actually pick him to represent the WHL...maybe he was the only one not going on long weekend on holidays so he got picked by default :) unbelieveable !!
