Great of you to point out how outstanding Severson is defensively. I have been wondering for months how the best player on the best team in the country does not make the world juniors. Certaintly Severson has comparable stats to the WJ members and has a superior +/- to all. Disappointing for him clearly could have been a contributor there, hoping for a memorial cup win for this kid to truly get his due.
